ABOUT

“Even I thought it was just an Uber trip… and I was wrong.”

For more than a decade I've been driving through London's streets at all hours, carrying strangers from one part of their lives to another. What began as a way to make a living slowly became something else — a kind of listening school. A place where grief, laughter, longing, and grace would arrive uninvited and sit beside me in the dark.

I'm T.G. Owens — pianist, composer, and writer, originally from Eastern Europe, now long at home in the particular strangeness of London.

My book God Is Not an Information Desk grew out of those thousands of rides. Not as a theological argument, but as an honest account of what happens when ordinary moments refuse to stay ordinary. When a stranger in the back seat says something that changes everything. When you realise the Divine has never been waiting somewhere above — it's been here, in the conversation, in the silence, in the person you almost didn't notice.

Music has always been the other half of my language. I compose piano pieces that don't try to say what words already can — they reach for what words leave behind. Companions for reflection. Space for what's unresolved.

This is a gathering place for those who sense there's more to life than answers. For anyone who has felt the unnamed longing, carried the unfinished question, or simply needs somewhere quiet to remember who they are.

You're welcome here.
